I have been open for over a year and have had great succes and my customers love my very gay super inappropriate tshirts. This entire adventure has been more about freedom of more than anything else. I have found 1 printer in the entire US who gets my sense of humor and will print my shirs. It is time for an upgrade though.
When I first setup my site, I had a terribel time with variants. Shopify has limits, I wanted unlimited. I want to offer my all the sizes and colors offered by theprintful.com, my printer. I want my customers to see swatches of those colors, which proved to be a huge difficult expensive mess that I found a so so work around for, but that needs to be upgraded. Also, each of my designs is offered in a tshirt, tank top and sweat shirt, but these are all listed as seperate items.
In a perfect design, I would like for my site to be set up like this:
1) There would be a pull down menu (or another option, I'm just using pull down menu to be consistant) for the customer to choose tshirt, tank or sweatshirt. Each one of these items are offered in different sizes and colors so this choice would then dictate what the next set of pull down menus would be.
2) This would be the size pull down. This one shouldn't be that difficult, but does effect color options, for instance, not every color is offered in a 2XL, white and black are, but ash sea foam, not so much.
3) This pull down should offer color options with color swatches. As I have it now, there is not a pull down but large color swatches for the customer to click on. I find it to be bulky and takes up room and I'd like another option or at the very least, to make them smaller.
I would also need an option for the sublimation tshirts as there are no color options, just a choice of tshirt or tank top, then quantity.
I also had the first "expert" add a link in the tshirt that says "click here for the tank version" but I added sweatshirts and other designs after that and those new items don't have those links, so those need to be removed. I would love an automated website that I don't have to manually send orders though. It gets to be a lot sometimes and I am just one person.
I currently don't have a set budget, but $10,000 isn't doable, but $1500, we can talk. If I haven't scared you off, please respond. I am in Williamsburg NY and would like someone local who I can see face to face rather than email, but I am not shutting off options. I've been told I am too needy and that I ask too many questions, so, there's that...I expect an expert to be able to answer as many questions as I have, as I have a lot and am looking to you for help.
