Hello all
I'm hoping to get a couple of small updates made to my existing Shopify theme on www.mattt.com.au
1. Adding line item properties
I'm wanting to add the ability for customers to select a strap colour from a drop box which will then load a preset colour background behind my main product image (it will be a png). The area of the strap will then be coloured in by this background and it will also need to pull the selected option into the cart.
2. Refine tag filtering for blogs
I use blog articles to display lots of information on my site. An example of this is the fabrics section
http://www.mattt.com.au/blogs/fabrics/tagged/show-all-fabrics
Where customers can view the various fabrics I offer and select various tags to filter what is displayed.
I would like customers to able to select multiple tags (or one tag from each subsection) so they can refine their search better.
A post about this in the forums (by me) is - http://ecommerce.shopify.com/c/ecommerce-design/t/filtering-by-multiple-tags-203032 which might give more information.
3. Cart customisation (?)
This will depend on the cost etc involved though I'm looking to be able to control the order products are added to the cart so that either the last items added are added to the bottom of the list of products or that certain products can be forced to the bottom of the list.
This is because I would like to use products as delivery items and have a table of the delivery options appear on the cart page dependent on the cart weight (so if a bag weighs 700gm the appropriate delivery is displayed). A customer would them select the appropriate delivery option and then progress to the checkout with both the product(s) and delivery in the cart.
In addition to controlling the order items are added to the cart (or control this using liquid filters which display all products with product.type == "delivery" under other products) I would like the delivery items to be removed from the cart if the products are removed (so that there isn't just a delivery product left by itself).
Of course let me know if you require further details etc,
Matt Thomson
