Custom feature and checkout process - delivery by A Ahadi
Hi there,
We are a flower delivery company and require some features added to our store. Please note, our store is currently under construction but can give you the details to view it.
Current reality:
We deliver flowers to local areas, same day and next day/future delivery. We have a cut off time each day where we no longer accept same day delivery but would accept future delivery. We have a range of products, some are available for same day delivery, some for next day delivery and others for 48 hours notice.
Goal:
When the customer sees the products on listed on the homepage, collection or product listing, we would like a line saying "Available for delivery today" , "Next available delivery tomorrow" and "Next available delivery (day/month)" underneath the product which will improve the customer experience when looking for a product that's ideal for them.
Once the customer has decided on their product and is on the product listing, we would want the customer to enter the delivery postcode - (a field that would validate against a set of post codes that we deliver to) so if we deliver there, the customer can then proceed to choosing the delivery date. Ideally a calendar would come up - if it's prior to 2pm, the calendar offers that same day as a delivery option, if it's after 2pm, the next available delivery date should be the following day.
Once the delivery date has been selected, the customer should be presented with delivery options dependant on the time of day.
The customer would then proceed to the next page which would have a range of extras such as chocolates, wine, balloons etc that the customer can select to add to the order.
The customer would then enter the recipient's details along with any card message.
We would then need to collect the customer's details for payment.
Finally an order confirmation would need to be shown.
We have an example website that we can show you to display the idea in practice.
Hopefully this is something we can put together - if you are aware of any limitations to the requirements of the top of your head then please let me know on here too so I can see if there's another way of going about this.
