I own a proofreading site that is currently hosted on Adobe's Business Catalyst software. I would like to switch over to Shopify and have the following questions:
On our Business catalyst website users submit documents and the documents are automatically assigned to an editor. Is this possible with shopify? Is there any third party plugins that facilitate this process?
Here would be our ideal workflow:

1. Customer places an order on our external site.
2. Editor receives an email notification directing him/her to log on to the site.
3. Editor logs on to the site and enters an editors-only dashboard. The newest job will be listed in the "Docs waiting to be picked up" list at the top of the page.
--> the listing will only indicate the order number, customer name, deadline, page number info, formatting style, English type, and amount due to the editor (NOT total paid by customer).
4. Editor downloads the document. The download triggers the job to be moved from the "Docs waiting to be picked up" list to the "Docs in progress" list.
5. Internal site automatically updates a centralized document/dashboard or database that shows all orders in a given month.
-->This centralized document includes full payment info and should NOT be accessible to editors.
6. Editor returns document to customer via the dashboard (so editor does not need to email the customer personally).
7. The successful return of the document triggers the job to move from the "Docs in progress" list to a "Completed docs" list in the editor dashboard. In the same step, the centralized document (for administrative purposes) is updated to indicate that the document has been submitted to the client.
8. All "Completed docs" on the list can be grouped by month and includes the editor's payment info, making it easy to tally the editor's monthly total.
Is this possible with Shopify? If so we are looking to work with a coder that can make this happen.
