We spent quite a bit of time getting our analytics set up correctly for a client site of ours (Forged.com). Would be happy to take a look as this type of data is imperative for conversion analysis. Because of the intricacies, it might be beneficial to chat over the phone first. The problem we had , and I'd have to check with my lead dev for details,
is that we started using universal analytics but Shopify in the end admitted that it isn't fully supported yet
so we had to go back to using the classic asynchronous code with some modifications. This helped clear up some issues for us.
