Hello Jane,

We encourage taking first step and launching your Shopify store, but start making sales require a bit more effort. Your first priority should be to get your website done correctly and then move forward with proper marketing.

Looking at your website, I agree that it doesn't look professional, so I am suggesting few step that you can take to make your website more professional.

  1.  Please change your store theme to something that fits with your niche. There are tons of Shopify Free themes that you can choose from.
  2. I will list down some themes below specifically for you.
  3. Create a simple logo for your company - Use PhotoShop or Pixlr (free onlline tool).
  4. Once you have setup your theme and designed your logo, its time for your homepage banner. Keep it simple, it dont really need to be fancy. Use same Pixlr tool or Photoshop. You can download free high res images from UnSplash to use on your banner.
  5. Do some work on your "About Us" page.
  6. Create Contact page.
  7. Include other important pages like Privacy Policy, Terms, Return and Refunds, Shipping, etc. These are very crucial, because most of the time buyers look for return or refund policy before purchasing.

I think these should be enough to get you started :)

Do your marketing right, promote your products and hopefully you will get some sales soon!
