I am starting an online greeting service. I need to have a form input where text is entered and stored for fist step. Then the 2nd step is the user chooses the color of box to ship greeting in. So like a small gift box with custom greeting.
I called Shopify tech support and they do not have this option. Instead of clicking on the product and entering a customized message I would like the opposite process to happen.
I am a developer but from the LAMP environment, not Ruby or Liquid. How can I get a script for this process to happen or is the code simple to get and add. Basically the stored message will connect to the product (color boxes). I am going to start with only 5 products.
