Hi,
I will explain the situation we are in first. We have a product (freestanding kitchen panties built to order) that has a lot of style options, more so than the three that shopify provides.
On researching this problem I have found that you can add in a colour option drop down into the html of your layout that shows the colour option in the checkout but doesn't require us to use up one of the three product options when creating one.
I have tried to implement this into our shopify theme but inevitably failed due to my small html coding knowledge. What I need is someone who could implement this colour option dropdown.
The second thing we are after is instead of the standard radio button or dropdown look of product option we want a colour "swatch" for the colour options. Again I had found a solution but it doesn't work well (or at all) with the above code that I talked about above. It also adds rather bad looking "swatches" to all the other product options which we didn't like.
So can anyone help?
Here are links to the original code solutions I found the things I have spoken about.
