The site is fully functional and is working nicely, but there are a few changes that need to be made.
1. Zoho is not yet fully integrated. The sign up to Newsletter is not working, nor is the contact form.
2. Need to add the HTML code to the site
<meta name="google-site-verification" content="dj7Hx9ozdvbSxfPvPi1Uh28yLUMdq57G-Q6wT0fl3nM" />
3. As the waistcoats that we are selling are available in sizes from 36 to 50", ensuring that we have consistent stock levels is really important. As it's impossible to predict exactly what sales we will make, we always end up running out of some sizes before we do others. However, we are able to alter sizes up or down.
Take example a blue tweed waistcoats. If we have 5 in a 40", but 0 in a 38" on our old website, you would be able to click on the 38", but instead of add to basket, it would say "made to oder in 5 days."
We explained to the previous designer/developer that doing this was really important. He said this would be possible by using the custom fields tool to edit the "Variant Sold Out" message
"Use the custom fields tool to edit the "Variant Sold Out" message. This is displayed when a sold out variant is selected by the user."
I know that custom fields only works on Chrome. I'm able to get the appropriate box up, but can't work out how to make it possible to buy a product that is not in stock.
I need a developer to either make sense of the custom fields section above, or to work out another way to achieve the above stock manipulation - e.g. by installing the "not in stock" app from the Shopify store.
If you think you can help with this and are easy to contact, preferably in London then please get in touch as soon as possible.
Thanks,
Jack, Sir Plus
