My frustration is two-fold. First, communication has dropped significantly ever since I paid the 50% deposit ($500.00). Emails take couple days to a week to respond and she can't be reached by phone. Second, she has "spent a lot of time" on the store, but she doesn't have anything to show me. Heck, she hasn't touched the website for the past 8 days.
It almost sounded like she took my $500.00 and went on vacation. If she has time to send me an email response back, how hard is it to give me a call and re-assure everything is okay? I'm not asking for too much here am I?
I sent her an email this morning and asked her to refund me $500.00 or I will be forced to do a chargeback and leave a negative review. I've already brought up the issue to Shopify Gurus as well.
She is listed in Los Angeles and we are located in San Gabriel, which is literally 20-25 minutes away. Another reason why I chose her expecting there to be constant form of communication. Boy I was wrong.
