'Search/Refine By' Implementation by Andros
Hi Guys,
Looking for a developer to implement a 'Seach/Refine By' sidebar onto our shopify store.
Our website is www.lexiclothing.com.au
Basically we want to be able to add some links to a sidebar (or similar) and these links should link to a collection page that we've set up. So for example, the sidebar would have browse by type and the options would be dresses, pants etc. the dresses link would open up the collection/dresses page. That page should also have the sidebar on it. We should be able to add as many links and collections as we want.
We are on a tight budget but I am hoping that this is something that is quite easy to implement.

This is really something that link lists (or tagging to a lesser degree) is going to be the most helpful. You're right in thinking that it's not a huge addition.
Should you want to try it yourself there would be existing posts on the forum to give you a kick start if you want to try it yourself. You can always post again should you get stuck if that's the way you decide to go. For you, you'd just need to tweak things a little bit ensure your Fashion (seasonal) collections and product collections are kept separate. I'd imagine you don't want a collection of 'dresses' (for example) to be mixed up among the named fashion collections.
That said, if you'd prefer to avoid the code there's a wealth of designers / developers over on the Shopify Experts page, myself included.
